Information we collect

Covelyo may collect professional profile information, customer feedback, account details, inquiries, and product usage data needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.

Google Business Profile data

When a professional chooses to connect Google Business Profile, Google asks that person to authorize Covelyo. After authorization, Covelyo may access the Google Business Profile accounts and locations that person manages, including business names, location details, websites, contact details, profile metadata, reviews, and related reputation information made available by Google.

Covelyo uses this data only to let the professional select and connect the correct listing, verify control of that listing, display connected information in the professional's private dashboard, synchronize authorized reputation information, and provide discoverability and listing-quality insights.

Google user data protections

Covelyo does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. We do not let people connect or manage a Google Business Profile without authorization from an eligible owner or manager. Access credentials are encrypted, access is limited to the service functions described in this policy, and service providers may process data only as necessary to operate and secure Covelyo.

Covelyo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How other information is used

We use other information to operate professional profiles, support discovery, deliver reputation insights, respond to requests, prevent fraud and abuse, protect the platform, and meet legal obligations.

Retention and deletion

We retain connected Google data and authorization credentials only while needed to provide the requested connection, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect the service. A professional may disconnect Google Business Profile from the Covelyo dashboard. They may also revoke Covelyo's access from their Google Account permissions. Disconnecting stops future access; eligible stored data can be deleted upon request.
